The company also works with customers to deliver a mix of products and services for a wide variety of applications that include: chemical, manufacturing, refining, construction, municipal, industrial services, environmental remediation, power generation, tank terminal/pipeline operations, transportation, mining, electronics and wastewater.

Broad Function

Performs labor and helper functions which include, but are not limited to, hydroblasting, catalyst handling, chemical cleaning, tank cleaning, dewatering and other work assignments

Essential Functions.

  • Loads hoses, chemicals and other equipment required for assigned job onto truck 

  • Hooks up and breaks down hoses using proper tools, gaskets and Teflon tape. 

  • Assist in the operation of equipment or power tools.

  • Cleans up work area and equipment after work is completed. 

  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps and general work area

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

  • Develops a basic working knowledge of all equipment that is utilized in performing assigned duties.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard and shop locations. Working on uneven ground and near various types of equipment in all types of weather. Working underneath equipment. Exposure to the outdoors, extreme weather conditions, dirt, and fumes. Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to work in adverse work conditions, varying from very hot to very cold.

    • Lifting or moving up to 50 pounds

    • Able to work in very wet environments as well as very dry environments.

    • Physically capable of standing, shoveling and performing other types of physical work for long periods of time.

    • Ability to safely perform work using high pressure water shotguns (up to 60,000 PSI) with back thrust up to 60 pounds of thrust.

    • Medically and physically capable of wearing respirator while performing the above listed work.

    • 100% ability to stay focused on surrounding hazards at all times while performing job requirements in extremely hazardous work environments (i.e. steel mills, power plants, refineries, chemical plants, etc).

    • Ability to move distances within & between warehouses/offices/field location

    • Use hands/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Active, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position)

    • Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse)

    • Ability to mount & dismount forklift and/or truck

 Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
Experience & Other

  • 6 months related experience
  • Rental/industrial helpful
  • State issued Driver's License
