Job Description

The company maintains a rental fleet consisting of more than 20,000 units, including steel tanks, polyethylene tanks, roll-off boxes, pumps, pipes, hoses and fittings, filtration units, tank trailers, berms and trench shoring equipment. BakerCorp serves customers in over 15 industries including oil and gas, industrial and environmental services, refining, environmental remediation, construction, chemicals, transportation, power and municipal works. The company also works with customers to deliver a mix of products and services for a wide variety of applications that include: chemical, manufacturing, refining, construction, municipal, industrial services, environmental remediation, power generation, tank terminal/pipeline operations, transportation, mining, electronics and wastewater.

Broad Function

Support the recruiting function on a broad range of administrative, employee branding, sourcing and screening activities.  Use a wide range of search tools and developing social media sourcing methods to successfully generate qualified candidates that align to our BakerCorp values and job specific requirements.   

Essential Functions

  • Prepare candidate target lists with in-house Recruiting team and develop a sourcing strategy for defined search campaigns

  • Post open positions both internally and externally

  • Evaluate candidate prospects to match BakerCorp values and search requirements for defined open positions

  • Use multiple search engines, databases and social media strategies to identify qualified candidates

  • Pre-screen and present detailed profile summaries of candidates for appropriateness of knowledge, skills, and experience

  • Make initial contact with passive and active candidate prospects with a goal of converting into qualified candidates for targeted searches

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers where applicable

  • Build talent pipelines for future search campaigns, gathers candidates’ search criteria and core competencies, and extend invitations to join our talent network

  • Special projects as requested by HR and Recruiting team

Working Conditions

  • Primarily working in a corporate office environment. On occasion, working conditions may include field visits that require utilization of Personal Protective Equipment

Job Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred but not required    


Required Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the human capital industry (e.g., recruitment firms, consultancies, corporate recruiting/in-house talent acquisition departments, etc.)

  • Social media sourcing experience

  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize and disseminate information in a clear and concise manner

  • A problem-solving, resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset

  • Able to work in a fast paced, high accountability environment where the principles of mutual respect, integrity and teamwork are essential

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and search engagements simultaneously

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

  • Understanding of relevant employment law and legislation


  • Light industrial work related experience

  • Previous experience with ATS implementation(s)

  • Excel spreadsheets, reporting and metrics experience
