The company maintains a rental fleet consisting of more than 20,000 units, including steel tanks, polyethylene tanks, roll-off boxes, pumps, pipes, hoses and fittings, filtration units, tank trailers, berms and trench shoring equipment. BakerCorp serves customers in over 15 industries including oil and gas, industrial and environmental services, refining, environmental remediation, construction, chemicals, transportation, power and municipal works. The company also works with customers to deliver a mix of products and services for a wide variety of applications that include: chemical, manufacturing, refining, construction, municipal, industrial services, environmental remediation, power generation, tank terminal/pipeline operations, transportation, mining, electronics and wastewater.

 

Billing Support

 

Broad Function

  • Process billing

  • Customer service, external and internal

  • Customer account reconciliations

 

Essential Functions

  • Research, identify and resolve billing problems/errors

  • Provide billing software training

  • Miscellaneous general administrative duties; filing, copying, scanning

  • Assist department in meeting long and short term goals & completing special projects

  • Review/Analyze exception reporting & perform subsequent corrective steps

  • Extract, format and present data

  • Test billing software program fixes and upgrades

  • Prepare reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Assist in Ad Hoc Projects

  • Interface with other internal and external departments as needed

 

Working Conditions

  • Primarily working indoors in a regular office environment. Some exposure to dust and noise.  Personal Protective equipment may be necessary in yard locations.

 

  Skills & Abilities:

  • Highly detail oriented with a focus on accuracy

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Must be flexible and able to work under time constraints to ensure deadlines are met

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Knowledgeable about billing practices

  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively independently & as a part of a team

  • Extremely strong data entry/typing skills (fast & accurate)

  • Able to create reports, business correspondence and other documentation materials.

  • Able to present information and respond to questions from co-workers, the field and customers

  • Ability to work within a changing environment

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to effectively problem solve

  • Multi-tasker, ability to manage multiple priorities at all times and meet deadlines

 

   Education

  • A four year degree or equivalent work experience

 

  Experience & Other

  • Excel knowledge (v-lookup, pivot tables, functions)

  • 3+ years billing (or related AP/AR) experience

  • Previous rental billing experience

  • AS400 & query experience preferred

  • Ability to lead special projects

  • Rentalman (Wynne) experience preferred

  • Previous software testing experience

  • Ability to type 50+ WPM with accuracy
